Pune – Serene, Calm and Charming

The place I’ve visited recently is Pune. I’ve been there on the occasion of my cousin’s marriage. It is a nice city and is built on hilly area. The climate throughout the year is very pleasant specially in rainy season it become quite cold. There is lot of greenery. There are many places to visit like University of Pune, Marathwada. Chatturshengi temple reflect the cultural aspect of the city. Markets too in Pune are good. M.G road, Fergusson college road markets are the places to hang around.

There are many other places near Pune where people can visit like Sinhagarh Fort, the vast palace constructed by Shivaji on hill top to look after the whole city from the top. It was constructed in such a way that no enemy can reach there easily. In rainy season it is surrounded by clouds, which makes it more beautiful. The other place to visit is Lonawala. It is a well known hill station of Maharashtra people visit there from all over Mumbai and Pune. It is a very beautiful place with many hills, landscape, waterfalls etc. People visit there for sightseeing and for picnic also.

Besides there, the city of Pune is emerging as a very important study centre and business center many important and well known colleges are there like Pune university, Symbiosis, Forgussion etc. There are also many big companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant Technologies, Geometric, Crisil etc. Travelers should visit Pune because it is beautiful, calm and peaceful.
