Recently I visited Mathura - a
Hindu Pilgrimage
destination. Mathura, is a place of temples and is a famous for being the
birth place of Lord Krishna. Mathura being the city of Lord Krishna, there
are many temple and good locations to be viewed. After visiting Mathura you
start believing that what we heard about Lord Krishna are not mere stories.
It is a fact and such things really happened in the past.
I visited Mathura with my family. We spent eight days there. During these
eight days we tried to visit the all those place that plays an important
part in Lord Krishna's Life. It generated 'Krishna Consciousness' in me. We
saw the birth place of Lord Krishna, visited the Jail where Devkinand and
Vasudeh was imprisoned, and finally visited the banks of river Yamuna where
Shri Krishna spent most of his time. On the banks of river Yamuna, there are
beautiful small
temples. Every evening we
joined the people to enjoy there amazing
culture and festivals. Mathura is a colorful city and it has an
important impact on our religious believe. I suggest every traveler should
visit this city, because when they go there they can understand that how
strong
Indian Culture is.
India is famous for its temples,
fairs and festivals,
cultural faith and I think Mathura is one of the destinations where you can
know true India.
