My Visit to Historical Karnal and Battle City of Kurukshetra

I visited recently Karnal, the birthplace of King Karn and then I went to Karan lake, favorate place of King Karn. Then I visited "Kurukshatra" a religious and historical heritage, a place of Dharmayudha. "Mahabharata". I have seen Brahma Sarovar. The origin place of this Sarovar is naval of Lord Brahma and this is a place were Kauravas and pandavas had taken bath earlier. I have seen the place where Bhishma Pitamah had taken his last breath on "Sharshaiyya" made by Arjuna and a place "Banganga" an eminent source of water created by Arjuna for thirsty Bhishma Pitamah. Then I visited monuments like Kalpana Chawla auditorium and engaged myself in other sightseeing tour of the place. I also visited "Monument of Shaikh chilli". After that I visited "Maa Bhadra Kaali's Temple" where goddess Sati's leg was dipped in a warron well. All these facts made me realize the importance of Kurukshatra as a pilgrimage destination of India.

IIndia is religiously and historically very rich. So, from the religious and historical point of view this place must be visited by every traveler. As far as I think, it will develop to a great tourist place in future.
