Experience Shared by the Traveller
Traveling Rajasthan aboard the Palace on Wheels is really a lifetime experience. Watching out Rajasthan from the facades of this royal train was wondrous as I experienced the blending of rugged desert terrain with the glowing majesty of erstwhile Rajas and Maharajas. Traveling through Place on Wheels was really like a fairy-tale ride as I had often heard about it. The touch of palace royalty and its courteous courtiers was beyond imagination. I don’t remember a single instance or a moment where I didn’t felt like a princess, it seemed as if entire board was my realm! It was just fantastic. Besides, what I liked was the train halts at every important destination of Rajasthan and Agra and there was enough time for sightseeing and shopping. But what really frustrates me is that, there is always a big list of reservation bookings and it becomes impossible to find a quick reservation. So, I would always like to see another 'Palace on Wheels' a sister concern of the present train. I also congratulate the Tourism Department of Rajasthan for having successfully launched the 'Palace on wheels' that gained great applause right from the day it started to roll. Also my sincere thanks to my tour operator who made Palace on Wheels possible for me.
