This is a very picturesque site that leaves the tourists utterly replenished with the new gush of energy. This is a very ideal spot for the city weary. These cascades of waters have their origin in Siruvani hill ranges. This whole of region is under supervision of Forest Department and atop this water fall sits the Siruvani Dam. It would be essential on part of the tourists to take the prior permission from the forest department in order to make a visit to this waterfall. The Siruvani Dam has been the primary source for the potable water in the whole of Coimbatore region. The waterfall is embedded right in the center of the lushly grown forest, particularly, after 5 PM at eventide. Also, the frequency of buses is less and so one has to keep the track of the bus timings.
