This is a large museum boasting to have housed vast collection of number of paintings and sculptures. Number of traditional paintings reflecting the art of Tanjore paintings, paintings reflecting arts of Rajput, Mogul arts, Kangra paintings reflecting the art of Himachal Pradesh. Tanjore paintingas and Kangra paintings are very much artistic that have received outpours of accolades from the tourists thronging this museum. These are ancient paintings of India that particularly revolve round the Hindu gods and goddesses. Many of the hindu gods and goddesses have been very artistically painted and depicting in these paintings and they serve to be the best souvenirs to carry back home. Raja Ravi Varma paintings are of the finest paintings that tend to leave the tourists spellbound.
