Geographical position: Hyderabad, next to the river Musi, is the capital city of Andhra Pradesh and in the vicinity of the Deccan Plateau.

Founder:  Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, fifth sultan of the Qutb Shahi dynasty of Golkonda, is credited for the establishment of this city.

NTR Gardens: The construction of this amusement park is credited to Chandrababu Naidu in memory of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was father in law of Chandrababu Naidu. The garden is stuffed with a basketful of fascinations for the tourists such as boating, riding in mini-train, a spirited house and so on. Also, tourists will find one wonderful cafeteria furnished with seats resembling to vintage cars.

Lumbini Park: Tourists can also tour famous Lumbini Park that is spruced up with water cascades, guided car rides, boat ride a Buddha statue studded right in the center of the park.

Hyderabad History

The earliest ruler of Hyderabad is said to be Quli Qutb-ul-Mulk. Earlier, he had all his establishments in the Golconda fort that was 8 KM distant from Hyderabad. Nevertheless, later on he had to shift his establishments from Golconda to current site of Hyderabad. It is said that he had been enmeshed in the love for a local concubine, called Bhagmati. After Bhagmati, conceded to embrace Islam, she was assigned the new name that is “hyder mahal”. It is after her name, that “Hyderabad” name became popular for this city. When her name had been “Bhagmati”, then too, the city used to be called as Bhaganagar, after her name.

 
 

Hyderabad Weather

Weather in Hyderabad presents the tropical climate much akin to various other Indian cities. During the seasons of summer, the climate appears to be hot, mixed with dampness. The temperature remains between 30 and 40 degree Celsius. Wintry season prevails only for a couple of months, when the great drop in temperature is witnessed. You will experience the cool breeze blowing during the mornings and eventides. The city witnesses heavy downpours in duration of the rainy season. The nicest time from viewpoint of sightseeing in Hyderabad is October to March.
